Meet our Directors

Amrita Sohal

Amrita is a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist who has worked with vulnerable populations in Birmingham and Leeds. Amrita brings a wealth of clinical and community expertise to Taraki and helps shapes positive practice throughout the organisation.

Harr-Joht Kaur

Harr-Joht works at the intersection of research, museums and public service. Harr-Joht brings an important lens to our work which helps us to develop our research and policy offering whilst thinking intersectionally about mental health interventions.

Navraj Dhesi

Navraj is an IT professional and mental health advocate. Navraj looks to support wider systems change in how we work with communities suffering from health inequalities. Navraj's technical expertise and lived experience help him to make a positive impact with us at Taraki.

Shuranjeet Singh

Shuranjeet is the founder of Taraki and works to ensure the organisation's strategy is aligned with its vision and mission, enabling Punjabi communities to support themselves and each other more effectively.
